I find that playing and listaning to Jazz is quite relaxing. I also love listaning to groops such as Rammstein
i love rammsteins jazzier tracks too, we should start a club
we could be like the kiss navy
Rammstein is not bad, but there are better bands
do you know In Extremo or Subway to Sally?
they have a little different style, but they are imho much better
Hardcore Techno baby!!
If you want to hear sone just check out the links on my blog at:
http://charuzublog.blogspot.com/2005/07/techno-links.html
Trust me... It's great. Anyother techno fans???
In Extremo is gay gay gay. Gayer than HIM.
Anyway, I listen to mostly speed metal, punk, and Barry Manilow
>>4
The artists you are linking to are somewhat like m1dy? Because I don't like techno, but I sure do love m1dy.
oh, come on, it's been days, weeks or something inbetween
and noone has commented on the evan dorkin thing in >>2
and by the way, the Netherlands deserve to sink for the genres those people spawned in the latter half of the 20th century thing
and also, buy the alan braxe album thing that just got released, it's the shit, and 'french-er' than [cool analogy which i'm too hung over to make right now]
peace out
Actually I have m1dy in the links.... great music. If you like m1dy I recommend that you listen to DJ Sharpnel and Zen
Also, by the way m1dy is techno. So what you said was you dont like techno.... but you shure like techno.
>>9
Nah, it's just m1dy. I tried DJ SHARPNEL, and while he did have a few okay songs, most of it was crap. Japanese rock and metal does it for me, that's what I usually listen to.
If It's metal try 403. Also, have you trird ZEN? Thay are alot Like m1dy. I think you would love them. ^o^
"what kind of music do you listen to and or play??"
I listen to eletronic music, punk and alternative rock. As for the music I play, my friends and I shift between a variety of rock styles.
I like experimental electronica, glitch-hop, avant grade hip-hop, post rock, punk, Drum N Bass, I hate country but love Johnny Cash.
I make electonica, but I haven't as of late because my firend whom I made most of my music with just left for college before I did (;_;) so I'm working on solo stuff now which is slow going at the moment.
Super/Hyper Eurobeat and ParaPara stuff. (I recently got the Initial D-D Best Selection CD and absolutely love it.)
>>14
Super ultra mega para neo wickid eurobeat is teh bomb!
m1dy = speedcore
Not techno
NERD, Weezer, and random Japanese groups. Mainly M-flo/Rip Slyme-ish, though.
Sub-sub-categorizing techno genres died with the nineties.
You obviously know nothing about your genres then. Trance and Speedcore are two entirely different genres. Im sure you wouldn't call metal alternative, now would you?
oh boy, genre bashing in a battle for the superior knowledge of labels - who will win?
Who's bashing genres? I'm bashing the concept of labels!
>>22
Who are you?
>>1 you are the best
Rammstein is Rammstein
Hearing now:Rammstein:Weisses Fleisch IMO their best song.
Hi thereeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!

GUHROOVY
http://www.guhroovy.com/
I do a lot of hardcore rave, and I sometimes host 72-hour-long raves where I play all the music.
I like acid house.
I've tried making various types of electronica with software like Reason but it's pretty difficult. I don't know whether it's a lack of musical talent or lack of musical theory knowledge, or both. Probably for the best, there's enough crap out there.
Today's music ain't got the same soul, I like that old time Rock and Roll!
This thread is like having a flashback to the nineties. What the hell?
Give me the beat boys, and free my soul. I want to get lost in rock and roll.
Alternative Rock :D But I'm open to other music genres.
>>30
When I hear music, it makes me dance
You've got the music ...
I only listen to music from the 1800s.
Lies, they didn't have music in the 1800s. Music was invented in the early 1950s.
I listen to heavy metal, death metal, progressive metal and some electronic genres like triphop and breakbeat. I can also be found listing to most un-hardcore stuff like Enigma. ;)
What I listen to depends on a lot of factors, like the mood I'm in, and whatever my current obsession is.
>>I only listen to music from the 1492s,by Elvis Presley

YAY! Acid house is yummy! So is trance, and goa.
Everything? I don't know. I like rock, breakbeat, new age, trance, happy hardcore, euro, oldies, pop, showtunes (O_o), classical, uh... "classical crossovers," Christmas songs (!!), uh... hip-hop, R&B, Final Fantasy music... and whatever else I'm missing. Buuut, I don't really like country and christan music, although there have been exceptions.
Electronica mostly. Espically Gabber and Speedcore, But other forms of Hardcore, Techno, Some Trance and breakbeat as well. But at the moment I got some chill trip-hop playing and it's nice.
A bit o metal as well and im a happy person.
Leme check my Playlist

What's the deal with all you people who don't realize the nineties are over?
What's the deal with all you people who don't realize that saging a post that's already at the top of the page doesn't do anything?
i listen most of the time classicla musics or some ost movie :)
anything and everything not being rap, Rn'B, jazz or gay music
Sageing when posting useless replies is common courtesy. Paying attention to if a thread is at the top or not is useless, especially since some other thread might have been bumped while you were reading and posting.
What, specifically are you construing as 90's music?
>>41
You're right, why the hell would you people want to listen to music that isn't fashionable?
>>47
I know, right? Listening to music you like is so last season!
>>35
In that case it seems I have been fed and fallen for INDUSTRY propaganda.
I sincerely believed in music before 1950 but now I must thank you for opening my eyes.
As a gesture of gratitude I will spread the truth throughout the world.
Ahoy.
GRINDCORE!
