Sure, they were crappy musicians, but they knew how to pen an anthem. I Wanna Be Sedated could have been written yesterday, and it'd be just as relevant. Shit, a sedative sounds just right, right now.

I like them. Fun music, but I don't own any. I should.

Everyone should go watch End of the Century, an excellent documentary about The Ramones. Their influence was huge, certainly bigger than many better known bands.
