Not too long ago I would have bitched about the Arctic Monkeys, but I think their new album is at least interesting, compared to their vastly overrated debut.
Dunno about Gym Class Heroes though.

I'd also reccomend the Planet Smashers, but they're an incredibly acquired taste.

You come to a forum based on a popular Japanese BBS that's full of geeks who are into anime and crap and expect to find anything less than "wow that Death Note song rox!" or "T.M.Revolution is such a bishe lol"?
(I'm one of those aforementioned geeks, mind you.)
Rammstein

see that's the thing. i'm not one of the aforementioned geeks (i'm a different kind of geek entirely) but I'm a fan of the concept of the anonymous BBS. And this is pretty much the best English one going, despite the fact that 99% of the users are anime nerds or other assorted japanophiles. I'm just, perhaps futilely, trying to stimulate discussion on non-japanese music, because I have pretty much no interest in the Japanese stuff. Except Guitar Wolf.

Oh my, Guitar Wolf. So great.
I'm not a japanophile anime nerd either (even if I do enjoy some of it), and I agree that "which idol is best" or "blablabla OST" sometimes get annoying.
And yeah, anonymous BBS' are great.
And to contribute to the thread, I'll add, mmmhh... * browses through directories *
Fingathing - some stylish and groovy Jazz/Hip-Hop
Sparkling Bombs - motivating punk rock
Bump, I didn't mean to sage.
