Yes, I am talking about THE HARDEST METAL KNOWN TO MAN, DragonForce. This band is one of my favorites, despite the fact that some people try to hate it just because so many like it. The best song for me still stands as Through the Fire and Flames, but I also like Fury of the Storm a lot. I spend most of my time fast-fowarding through the lyrics just to get to the guitar solos. Anyways, who likes DFORCE?!

You should also look up Cellador.
The only thing bad about DragonForce is that all their songs sound a lot alike.
Also I would like to know of any other power metal bands any one knows of.

They were just called Rhapsody until sometime last year IIRC. I've got a couple albums, they're not bad if you like songs that go on and on for over 10 minutes. I still prefer DragonForce though.

I just discovered a band called Blind Guardian by a friend of mine. They are actually better then DragonForce and not all their songs sound the same.

I love Revolution Deathsquad to bits. Any song that includes the line "Rise over shadow mountains blazing with power" in its chorus must by definition be kickass.

Blind Guardian are quite good, their album Nightfall in Middle-Earth (telling a part of Tolkien's Middle-Earth first age) is great.

Iced Earth are quite good too.

Also, mix some Iced Earth with some Blind Guardian and you'll get Demons and Wizards, which is just great.

OP here. Changed my mind to best song as Fury of the Storm after listening to the solo over and over. TTFAF seems too slow now (lol).

DragonForce isn't metal. At least not real metal.
