For the audiophiles

I am thinking of buying a new set of headphones for my sound quality needs.

I have heard rumors that the Sony MDR-v6/7506 are the best in their price range as well as the Grado SR6 and SR8.

Does anyone else agree or would you say that their are better?

I love headphones, I have alot on pairs.
I prefer Targus, KOSS and Sennheiser :)

Rightnow I'm wearing Sennheiser HD 650.

I recently bought a pair of grado SR225 'phones and I absolutely love them. I had a listen to some Sennheisser 'phones for a while but decided I didn't like the sound, I found it felt kind of flat, a bit distant. they did have plenty of bass though

the grado phones though sound a lot more direct, theyre great for rock music, and female vocals sound very natural. the 225's are reportedly the bassiest of that grado line, but I do not find them to have that much bass anyway, which is something to consider. I'm no bass junkie but I'm glad I bought these and not the 125's
