Hello.
My name is Haruka from Japan.
I will attend my best friend's wedding ceremony.
My friend wants me to sing a song for her in the ceremony with my boy friend.
I am Japanese, but my friend is Korean.
We became a friend in the University of Washington, so when we talk, we speak in English.
So, I would like to sing a song with my boyfriend in English.
However, I don't know any English song....
Could you please give me an idea what kind of duet song is good for wedding ceremony?
Thank you for reading:)
Don't Stop Believing by Journey
I went to school in Washington too, there are so many Korean and Japanese people there. Anyway, you should sing: Burt Bacharach - You're Just Too Good To Be True. That song is always a hit everywhere.
Depends on the mood you want to give. I've worked on weddings quite a lot and I can give you some pointers on songs that come often and "work":
Hallelujah, by Jeff Buckley -- lots of emotion
I'm a Believer, by The Monkees (although the Smash Mouth version works better) -- very cheerful
Don't Go Breaking My Heart by Elton John & Kiki Dee -- very good duo, if you're going to sing with your boyfriend
Baby Killer by Devourment V:
Thank you guys:)!!
I am going to listen every song you guys recomend now!
This is first time to sing a song on my friend's wedding ceremony...so i am very nervous..
