Well, growing up, I was always into classical music. One of my favorite composers was J.S. Bach. Mainly because his music was so different from the rest of the composers, his style of playing almost reminds me of 80's-90's guitar shred.
Maybe the reason I liked him so much was because I picked the cello during elementary orchestra. And of course everybody knows that famous prelude from the first cello suite (I'll link to it later). Thanks to the internet, recently I have uncovered more of his works and have found much appreciation for not only his cello suites (which are some of the most beautiful cello solos of all time) but also for his keyboard works, lute solos, flute suites, he was an amazing composer.
