"LONDON (Reuters) - The government on Tuesday pledged to help companies fund projects to curb greenhouse gas emissions by storing carbon dioxide (CO2) under the North Sea.
Energy Minister Malcolm Wicks said technology which would capture CO2 emissions from coal-fired power stations, and pump the greenhouse gas into depleted offshore oil and gas fields, could be up and running within a decade."
