We're all going to burn.
How can our government continue to do this to us? And yet we give trillions of dollars in bailout to companies who are in the red--and not one cent of this fund goes to students! It's not like we fucked up anywhere, and it's not like we have any means to pay off the debt any time soon through profit margins! Goddamnit, it's outrageous, the best I can do lately is hang my head low and pretend it isn't happening, 'cause there sure as fuck isn't anything I can do about it.
students, unlike companies, don't have a chance of paying back their loans
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. ahem
I agree, I demand more money
Oh hurry up and just be more stupid already! The Govt wants you to be that way, now hurry up!
meh, any time i think about the national debt it just makes me feel more comfortable with my own relatively meager debt to the education industry that will inevitably suck me dry as i attempt to keep my credit rating from going down the toilet.
indentured servitude is what they ought to call it.
then again, finland has free higher education, complete with ridiculous tax rates and mandatory military service. where did that get them? the number of degree holders exceeds the number of jobs for which they aren't "overqualified".
don't worry, with the left hand tilt uncle sam is leaning towards, your grandchildren will all get free school as long as they serve in the army, which will mean remote-piloting killer robots from x-box 9000 consoles for 2 months, picking off whatever part of the world we don't like by then.
my advice to you is to start drinking heavily.
