We're about to find out...
>Last week's U.S. raid into Pakistan is fueling one of the country's most enduring—and potentially dangerous—conspiracy theories: that the U.S. has designs on Pakistan's nuclear arsenal and is prepared to send highly trained commandos into the country to seize control of the weapons.
Right now there's some dude at the DIA and/or CIA tasked with the job of securing the nukes should Pakistan go to hell. Right now that guy's thinking: Brilliant! The best part is they thought of it!
OP may well be correct. Rumor referenced by news story may well be correct.
But should the worst happen, if they decide to send in some US special-ops guys to secure the Pakistani nukes, they may very well find the Indians have sent in some Gurkhas already and may already have the situation well in hand.
The Indians are not fools, and the Gurkhas know their business.
It appears six gunmen managed to terrorize and maintain control over a naval air base for seventeen hours. That does not bode well for the security of anything at all in Pakistan.
>KARACHI (AFP) – Pakistan on Monday regained control of a naval base in the country's biggest city, 17 hours after heavily armed Taliban gunmen attacked, destroying two US-made surveillance planes and killing 10 personnel.
Six gunmen did this. Six. What would happen if it were a hundred gunmen? Let's hope there's a plan in place to secure/disable the nuclear weapons.

I think the point is that Pakistan is geared for war against India and the bulk of their defenses are directed towards them. They are definitely not just going to be able to swoop in.
The United States already has soldiers inside Pakistan, and has a much more sophisticated Special Forces contingent. I really doubt those fucking Gurkha are going to be able to get there in time
