I did not realize there was any real digital computer data networks (the developing Meshnet excluded) was around other than the Internet. And now it's being shut down. That's too bad. It seems cool. I'm sad I never got to be on it.

I can't find detailed info on whether the German ISP T-Online still maintains access to old BTX (Bildschirmtext, German Minitel equivalent) pages via their Internet service. All I know is that dedicated BTX devices have not worked since 2001, and that the online banking service via BTX was discontinued in 2007.
