Eh.Most japanese/english threads are a good idea, but, there is always some asshole making the japanese person feel like a dumbass.
If you guys really want to share, showing some manners is a good start.
Now, i am not saying anyone here is being an ass, but i have seen it in many other similar threads on similar boards.
I have noticed, that most japaneese ALWAYS start with "Hello, It's nice to meet you."
It's just polite, so try and return the favor with "Hello, it's nice to meet you too." or "Hajimamishite" <spell check> which means the same thing.

Any language is tough, but you must do your best to surround yourself with the language. Try reading things in English as much as possible. If your favourite websites have English versions, try using them. Even try talking to yourself in your best English!
Surround yourself with the language in many different ways. It has been working for me (although with Spanish rather than English. it should still help you.)
If you just keep posting on messageboards with English people, I'm sure you'll master the language in no time!
Make sure they write proper English, though...

Yesterday I talked to a girl on the phone everyone - It's been 2004 since I last talked to a girl. Well, back then I still didn't talk much to girls. Incidentally, I'm an recluse (Japanese equivalent "Hikikomori"; in some sense)? and I don't like talking to much to people, not even my family or friends. All I do is internet/gaming eat and fap. I've been in my room ever since i graduated from high school (2004).
That said, it was nice hearing a girls voice after all this time. I'm not very social at ALL and I was quiet most of the time speaking with her. She wants me to call her again later tonight. but something is holding me back. ._.
By the way, I meant her on Myspace. After conversing with her, she gave her phone number to me w/o my asking. So yeah. She's korean and very pretty (nice too). Though theres a narrow age gap between us - I'm 23 she's 16, not to bad I suppose.

As far as I can tell, the error message I'm getting says "Foreign domain restricted (.se) ... Use a 2ch viewer." -- would that mean that the whole .se top level domain is blocked? Or should I read this as "Your domain, which is in .se, is blocked."?
Annoying, either way. I guess I'll have to try and find a proxy now.
