それから「問いたい」は少し文語的(written language)なので「聞きたい」のほうが自然に聞こえます。

I guess there is no "ひどく間違っているところ" in your post. Your grammar is correct. As >>8 already said, the wording is a little bit strange because you used formal/written expression and informal/conversational expressions in the paragraph at once, but it is still understandable.

As for the test, most parts of it seems not difficult for native Japanese speakers because it is multiple-choice. If the test doesn't have choices and you have to answer everything, it should be far more difficult and some Japanese will fail, I'm sure.

These days, people often use a computer when they write something, so you don't need to write correct kanji, you just choose one from what the computer shows. If you can distinguish correct choices, that is enough. Figuratively speaking, you must not confuse "fire extinguisher" with "fire distinguisher", but you don't need to spell it by yourself because the computer shows possible candidates.
