I didn't know where to put this so I'll just put it here:
I'm going to do voluntary work in Japan soon and I have to go with a tourist visa. So far I know that 1) Europeans can stay up to 6 months in Japan with a tourist visa. BUT, normally 3 months. 2) I need to have a return ticket if I wish to enter Japan.
So I'm kinda confused here... I want to stay for 6 months, but can I have a return ticket which is dated at that time? After 3 months I'm supposed to contact the authorities or something... How is this matter usually handled in Japan?...and maybe I'm completely clueless, so pls give me advice :)
