Use calm music, or "Ambiant" (ie Oƶphoi), or Nature Sounds (some tracks are quite lenghty of rainforests, shores & such that are really calming).

17 says it the harsh way, but yeah, masturbating right before going to bed can help to sleep (it's a question of hormones).

A hot shower/bath can help too, as it makes tension drop quite a bit.
