I have really bad acne, I've been told that I'm good looking but I feel that my acne is what is keeping me in the shadows.
I have had this really bad acne for around 4 or 5 years, it started maybe 6 or 7 years ago.
The acne is on my forehead, face, under neck, back of my neck and shoulders.
I have tried everything, and it's still really horrible.
Does anybody here have this kind of problem and if so what is a good way I could get rid of this shit?
I use to have acne on certain parts of my face. I stopped getting it when I:
I had a friend with disastrously bad acne, but we never thought any less of him for it (the occasional joke at his expense was still fired off, but we all laughed at each others shortcomings). I rarely even noticed the pimples and scaring, seeing as he was a good friend and I saw beyond that.
See a dermatologist if you feel the acne is affecting your quality of life badly.
Taking medication might be a bad idea, as most people grow out of acne, and it can hurt your liver as a side effect.
Drink lots of water, cut down on masturbation, wash your face at least twice a day. That's about all you can do. I never drank water until recently, and it's really helped me out. My athelete's foot finally completely cleared after having it for years! And my acne is much more manageable.
Yeah, I rest my face on my hand so I'll stop doing that and I have been taking anti biotic meds and my dermatologist has this one type of meds I could take but it tends to lead to depression and the side effect is suicide.
I drink lots and lots of water, I was my face when taking a shower but I'll start doing it more.
Also, I can't stop masturbating, but I only doing it 1 time a day.
Masterbation has nothing to do with acne. Go to the dermatologist.
This is what I do and after a few weeks all my acne dissappears or is unnoticable.
morning wash face + antibiotic + dermatologist face stuff
night wash face + antibioctic + dermatologist face stuff
I have no idea what >>2 is talking about regarding antibiotics damaging your liver. I doubt something would be prescribed so often and get passed if it was hepatoxic. Maybe if you drink on it but that's another issue altogether.
I had really bad acne and the best thing I did was I grew a beard, covered it right up. It might/might not be for you, but that's one suggestion. But remember acne isn't uncommon so it may not be as noticable as you think, that type of thing can seem worse the more you look at it.
does not drinking water make you get more pimples?
I'm pretty sure prolonged use of the computer contributes to acne. However I know of a cream that can take away your acne troubles. I used a cream called Advantan that you apply in small amounts to your face for at least 2weeks-1month. The acne -should- disappear.

water is very good for you, it helps the body function, getting rid of crap toxins. now, i think that could mean if you eat really crap food with plenty of water youre still going to get spots because thats just the junk coming out of your pores like it should do.

How did you arrive at this conclusion? I'm on the computer all the time and I've got very little to no acne.
Guaranteed recipe for success!
>>8 Yes. The easiest way to get rid of your acne (and most other skin problems) is to drink a lot of water every day.
1:
Drink 8+ glasses of water everyday.
2:
Change your diet. Eat lots of veggies and fruits. Really. Try fiber supplements if you want.
3:
Over the counter remedies. Clean and Clear and Neutrogena works pretty well for me.
4:
Prescription remedies. Nothing worked for me, but a lot of people I know use Retin-A. Or you could be even bolder and try Accutane.
5:
Expensive crap. Proactiv, Wexler.
6:
Asian remedies. I'm using some cream that's made of pearls (or so it says), and my skin usually doesn't break out unless I've been eating junk food for the past couple of days.

What kind of ridiculous, unproved remedies are you posting?!
These methods sound like they come out of the book of some satanic cult. Is this your sick way of being alternative?? Seriously, someone's skin is not something that you mess with.

I suggested a necklace of pearls to my girlfriend to keep her free of blemishes.
It's great for the skin. That's what I tell her anyway.
My doctor said use clearasil (acne cream) and gave me doxycycline (it was cystic). Gah, if I actually washed my face 2 times a day and used the acne cream it would probably go away but noo I am too lazy for that.
