[RANT] Life as an adult working in society (21)

Graduated from University last year, now stuck with a Full-time job. Pays well, but life is bloody tedious and it's so hard to meet new people. I miss being a student.

Anyone else in the similar boat? Please share your rants.

Mainly so you can support yourself and buy things you want. If you have money left over, save it for retirement so eventually you won't have to work but will still have money.

Right answer. But it seems quite difficult to find a nice girl to settle down with, especially since works keeps us so busy... And meeting new people seems a lot more difficult compared to my life as a university student _| ̄|○

Take an evening class if you can afford it. That's where I meet about 90% of my friends now, either through the class itself, or the gatherings run in conjunction with the school.

Absolutely right. Otherwise, develop group activities centered on whatever interests you.

Actually, I'm not even out of college yet, and I fear being in your position. I always viewed after grad life as, taking a leap into a sea of "9-5 hours." That is, if one can find a job right after school, which seems harder for grads today. I imagine after grad life as a bit lonely and a little scary. Wow I'm pessimistic. This subject has always been one of my main worries though.

well you could always move to oregon get you green card and sell from a rented apartment under a false name. no 9-5 hours and better pay. =P
