Girl here. I don't think it's odd at all for a 17 year old guy to be a virgin. Any girl (or guy, for that matter) who thinks less of you for being a virgin is a fool. I don't know what kind of person you are, but try not to feel pressured into losing your virginity!

FWIW I lost my virginity at 16 with someone I had just met that night and didn't see after that night. Kind of weird, but you should definitely try and "save yourself" (as corny as that sounds) for someone who will matter to you once you've completed the act of intercourse. Often that's much more fulfilling that the act itself.
