A psychiatrist would never mistakenly call themselves a psychologist. The fact that some psychologists prescribe drugs does not prove that you have a medical degree.
Quite frankly, you were being unprofessional, hence it was your own fault this happened. If you fail to realise this, then I strongly question your qualifications to counsel others.
