so, i am that kind of person that when feels emotional anguish or stress it goes right in the gut. most people when are tired, stressed or depressed get headache, they pop a few pills and are okay. my case is that my stomach goes to shit (no pun intended). i can't eat much, and any food i eat nevers settles down very well, giving me a felling like i ate an elephant, even though it was just a sandwich. Also my stomach gets a burning sentation that can last quite awhile.
does anyone get similar feelings? how do you deal with it? do you take any meds? is a headache better?
I get similar feelings and reactions, but I wouldn't exactly make a correlation between the two.

When stress comes along I just try to ignore the stomachache and focus on dealing with the reason for stress.
I've never used it, but I expect that tea might settle the stomach quite well. That's a wild guess in the dark, though.

I get that too. I was initially skeptical of the idea of stress causing stomach upsets, but now I'm pretty sure there is a relationship. There's just been too many times where just before an important test/event, I coincidently get a knotty stomach. My doctor has also suggested that my oddly timed stomach-aches are brought on by stress. It's relatively normal to lose your appetite if you're stressed. The stomach-aches are probably not as common. In my case, I don't like taking painkillers unless they are totally necessary. It's just short-term relief and doesn't solve your problem. I just began calming myself down before I got too stressed. Deep breaths, music etc. I also looked at my diet, and began eating more fresh food, less preservatives and drank a lot more fluids.

Even if it doesn't, drinking green tea has a lot of other benefits.
