I've been kissing my mom on the lips ever since I can remember. Is this strange?

Man, when I type it out it sounds sick.

No. But if you suspect your mom has a crush on you then stop doing it. If she's not hot, that is.

Not really, I've met people who do the same.

I personally think it's very strange.

Not really, its just a family tradition. I used to kiss my dad, I didn't know that was weird until someone pointed it out to me.

It can either be cultural, family tradition, or your mother fancies you.

I've not kissed anyone passionately

That's normal. I've seen tons of people do it...granted, they were all grade schoolers kissing their moms goodbye on their way to school....

That's normal. I also kiss your mom on the lips quite frequently.

i kiss my dad goodnight all the time (i'm a girl) It's just tradition in my family. I have grown out of it, personally, but i don't have the heart to tell dad ^^; I used to kiss my mom goodnight as well, but i stopped a long time ago

OP here. I also hug my mom everyday. Should I ever stop?

Well, I'm a guy and I hug my mommy everyday cause I love her. :3 So I don't see it as a problem.

No, I have seen a lot of people who do the same thing. It's usually just because it's been passed down from generation to generation.

i think the opposite would be strange. i never hug my mother, i guess the reason for that is that she always hugged my after she hit me and i lay sobbing on the floor...
i also had real problems when i started hugging girls a few years ago (i'm 26), i just couldn't do it

Hell, I still have issues with hugging girls. If I find one where I don't freak out, then I get obsessed instead. Epic.

i had (almost) no problem with them hugging me, but i never could never initiate a hug by myself until a girl forced me to. we were standing there several minutes while it was snowing until i finally could build up enough courage to hug her.
kissing was a similar story, she was sitting next to me and kept looking at me in a "kiss me you stupid idiot" kind of way. i told her that i wanted to kiss her really bad but couldn't do it. she said i should just try it, which i did after a few more minutes. after that we made out until the bar closed. :)
sex was different but it wouldn't have happened if her flatmate hadn't encouraged me to ask her if i could spend the night at her place...
btw. those were three different girls and sorry op for changing topics

Me too! I have a problem with hugging. Once I punched a girl right in her eye when she suddenly open her arms and moved closer to me, it was just so spontaneus. After that I always say to people not to hug me, they think I am joking, but I really not. I just dont to hurt people when shaking hands or kiss on cheek is more than enough.

Oh wow. I feel really uncomfortable hugging as well. Girls are usually pretty liberal huggers, but not me. I would literally just stand there receiving hugs, but never game enough to give one out. It just felt like an invasion of personal space to me. I've gradually gotten over it over the years, along with my self consciousness.

oh its not weird at all!!
my whole family does it, i know it sounds weird to some people but it is totally not.

like we are a french family and its always hugs and kisses to anyone in the family, yes lip kisses even sometimes.

i find it odd when people dont touch at all, like my friends family, they dont even hug.... i mean its all how you are raised.
