Anyone ever tried trading on the forex market? I've been doing research on it, trying some practice software from different companies to compare, but I'm still iffy about trying it with real money.
If the practice stuff is exactly the same as when doing it with real money (which they claim the rates in the practice are live) then I would have made $1300 in about 16 hours last night. But of course I'm skeptical about that because it really seems to good to be true. However, right now if I make new bids on the same currencies as I was last night, I'm not seeing any gains, and am spending all times going back and forth between negative and 0; which makes me kinda think I was just lucky last night.
I've heard of hikikkomori's in japan making their living purely on Forex, which must be so liberating.
I'm in a pretty lousy place mentally right now, close to suicide and feeling like I've got nothing to lose anyway, so I figure I can give it a go. I'll spend a week or so with this practice software and see what I can figure out, and maybe then try some small bids with real money and see how it goes.
I mean, unless anyone who's tried it can give me reasons not to.
I've read about this too and I've always wanted to give it a try but I remember hearing something about minors needing some sort of parental consent to trade stocks. Can someone confirm this and give me more detail?
And OP do you have any resources I could use to practise with? It sounds very tempting to me and if I manage to profit nobody can say that I'm just lying around the house and being unproductive.
Just google Forex. Seems like practically all internet companies letting you trade have practice software you can download for free.
I don't know about age restrictions for it, but that might be true.
