okay so, my gf is coming to visit sometime in about 2-3 months. only problem is that i'm sure she'd wanna go swimming, but since swim season ended i've developed quite a stomach. I know what i need to do to lose it, eat healthy, exercize, etc and i have the motivation. but i want to know what a healthy weight loss per week/month we're thinkin here.

Stats:
17 year old Male
5'8
175 lbs (fat replaced muscle)
used to be 165 (lots of muscle)

I know that i cant get back down to what i used to be in the 2-3 months without some INTENSE swim training, which to be honest i just dont ahve time for juggling working and school. but yea, My work is fairly active, i need to clean up at my store (lots of walking and lifting) and i do that for about 3 hours when i work. i do that 3 times a week minimum. and then i just bust out some squats/crunches/pushups when i get the chance. havnt seen any change except slightly more muscular legs and arms

The minimum possible. Ten pounds in 2-3 months is fast enough. That's a tops of five pounds a month.

I'm not sure what you're asking. You know you need to eat less and do some intense exercise, so...?

was just wondering how much a healthy loss would be. maybe recomend some exercizes that can just be done at home? like pushups, crunches, and squats

Keep it slow.

But losing those pounds will be a challenge as is. I've run an hour every day, almost without exception, for the past decade. Some days I throw in a couple hours walking and a couple grappling. Yet my BMI remains stable around 28, which is overweight.

Not possible unless you have serious money. You have to get out and do intense aerobic exercise. Biking up steep terrain or running, for example.

Pushups, crunches, and squats are a joke for losing weight. They're anaerobic exercises, and you'll be lucky to get a bit more muscle mass from them, let alone lose weight.
