I was in a similar situation and did the wrong thing by getting involved. Trust me, just mind your own business and if anyone ever asks you later about it then say "I didn't think anyone would really date the guy. I thought he was joking when he said he had a date." Don't ask the room-mate how the date went, and just don't bring it up. If you do tell the husband, he will confront the roommate and then tell the roommate that he heard it from you. There is a very good chance the roommate will then become your enemy pretty fast, and then you will be living with someone who will want to cause you serious problems. If you are going to say anything, then move out first. Otherwise, get ready to have all your stuff mysteriously destroyed, missing, etc. I first was out a tv (I think my room mate poured water in it) and a saxophone that mysteriously disappeared, so I confronted my roommate and smacked him around a little. The little b*tch called the police and they had an ambulance pick him up when all he had was a split lip, and they arrested me on assault and battery. Along with going to court and getting an arrest record, I had to pay $3100 for his ambulance ride and hospital visit. The judge also made me pay for the guys legal costs, which was another $850, and I had to move out. I think the guy made a copy of my car key and peed in the back my car the week we went to court, and it smelled like pee for a few days. What I learned from all this is not to get involved with other peoples messes when you can avoid it.
