Doomed... (14)

Allow me to explain my situation here..........

I am a college dropout. Not because I am not underperformed but because I was always been sabotaged by some racist, opportunistic colleagues who fucked up my life.
I got a chance to continue my studies but I choose to work as a freelancer artist instead but things got totally messed up since that.
My parents forced to just be like a hikki in my house doing nothing than just going to driving school. We have financial problems and I keep telling them that I can ease their burden by working (besides I did saw some graduates performs worse in job than some who starts from nothing! I am talking about working as chef here).
Then suddenly I saw opportunity coming, there is an animation studio seeking animators by looking just on their skills lately. I would to join but with my parents attempt to deny my kinship with them if I go (just because the place is too far, but I tell them that if I don't give a try we will never knows.) I fear that when the time comes that company no longer accepts any applicants I am doomed.
I was 23 now and a person like me in my country should graduate on age 20. What should I do? I am totally clueless now. I dunno which I should choose, my parents?, my dreams?. I am totally fucked up here.

Your own future is for you to decide. No one should have the right to tell you what to do in life, even if they're your parents, as they shouldn't be babysitting you for the rest of your life. You are 23 years old now, if you don't start making your own decisions now, you may never be able to move forward in life.

With this, I think you should take the chance and go for this job. There may be some obstacles you have to overcome, like the distance to and from work, but I'm sure that's nothing you can't handle, especially if it's something you are keen on. Opportunities like this may not come often.

I'm not sure if there are any consequences that will result from going against your parents' wishes, but I believe standing up to your parents is something most people would have to do sooner or later, and the sooner you do the better it is for you and them in the long term. I already did this a long time ago, and things have been great ever since, at least for me.

Your words are beautiful! Yes, I should make my own decisions. But my current problem is that right now, any attempt to that makes my father hates me and plan to break up our relationship might be as well being banned from reached my own house (ok, my parents house) for the rest of my life........

But I am totally sure after they see my achievements they will keep quiet afterward :). Now I am doing my demo reel secretly!

Shiiiiiish......(be quiet! XD) puts my index finger to my lips

There is nothing wrong with being reclusive and avoiding people. Why waste your time going around making small-talk, since you'll run the risk getting hurt or killed in some random accident or violent crime. You can see more of the world on youtube and webcams than you can see walking around your neighborhood, and youtube is safer. Youre so lucky you can stay inside and don't have to go out in the ratrace -- enjoy your solitude and peace. Most of society is like a festering wound on the planet, and people will always let you down eventually.

They were not suppose to be beautiful words, that is just my way of thinking after all these years concerning people trying to decide my life for me, but thanks for the compliment anyway:)

In any case, it seems you will be making your attempt at this job; I salute you for that. I hope that things will work out for you. Let us know how it goes okay?

Don't worry, I won't tell. I'm good at keeping other people's secrets:)
