it's either stress or anxiety. You may not think that it's stress because you don't feel stressed out, but what I've discovered that it's really a sub-conscious thing; although you may feel fine, you're probably pretty nervous deep down. I know it was for me,because when I started college, my ankle would hurt alot, but I also thought it wasn't stress or anything like that. I actually thought it was because it was really hilly and I had to walk up and down on it. When I talked to my mom about it (she's head RN) she said it was cause I was stressed out and my body wasn't taking it very well. Lo and behold, after becoming used to my surroundings, it went away. So even though you think it might not be stress or whatever, it just might be.
