I have a friend who is so close I see him as a younger brother. He's a guy I know and trust so much, and someone I am not attracted to that has me think of him as my lil bro. I think for you there is hope in developing a very close platonic relationship with someone who becomes a sibling in a sense. But you have to start somewhere, and that is by making friends first.
