Rapist (15)

Currently at my school there is a Japanese language club. The club members usually become good friends with the Japanese exchange students. They had a party one time and I was there and one of the girls got really drunk. One of the members of the Japanese club and the girl went back to his room. I followed because I was also attracted to her but didn't stop the man from taking the obviously incoherent woman. In his room I don't know what they did but later when meeting with the woman privately she was asking if she went back into the room with the Japanese club member. She couldn't remember anything at all about what happened. I told her about how I heard a story about another girl this Japanese club member possibly raped and how that might have happened to her. She became angry at my for not stopping him and disowned me as her friend. It was horrible. She blamed me for it happening.

I don't know what to do with this information. I don't want anymore women hurt by this man. I am afraid to go to the police because I just got out of the mental hospital. I went in after thinking about this and other actions that happened in my life and was going to end my own life. I am on medication now but its not helping as fast I as need it to. I want to get rid of this problem but I don't think anyone will believe me.

What should I do?

It's her own fault for getting drunk at a party. Not yours. She made a stupid decision and she'll just have to deal with the consequences of it, which she can't remember anyway. Oh well.

If you are on medication, then you are being followed by a professional,... Speak to him about it.

>>2 is right, she was a fucking fool to get drunk. Also, just because she doesn't remember it doesn't mean she didn't consent to it at the time.

Rightly so, either you don't relate such stories to her or anyone, or you act accordingly. The other way round is a pretty effective way to spread rumors.
That being said spreading rumors has it's benefits and you can't spread any sort of rumors more easily than these. Once the whole Japanese club knows about this, he'll likely leave on his own, maybe he has to leave the school.
There's probably nothing you can do to save above friendship, but maybe you already worked against said member by relating that story (she'll talk about it with someone else, etc.).
It's up to you: Spreading rumors may be asinine, but if you can trust the source of the original story enough for it to be more than a mere rumor, you should talk about it with others. Maybe choose the female you know best from the club and ask how she saw the situation in a quiet moment. Be careful and very hush-hush, relate how guilty you feel.

i think you should confront the guy and ask if he realy did it an if he did you should take imediate action

He shouldn't do anything. It's the woman's fault and her problem. See >>2 >>5

She's a whore who got what she deserved and what she was looking for. It is not your fault she is a drunken slut and there is nothing to feel guilty about. Soon she'll probably be at another party up to the same shit at which point you can have a crack at her in the back room.

I feel bad about it, but I have to agree.

If she can't take responsibility for something as simple as who she sleeps with who knows what other aspects of her life she'll want you to run for her?

Be happy you got rid of a bad friend.

Although rape is a serious issue I don't think you should put all this blame on yourself. When people are frightened or hurt they tend to lash out at anyone and a lot of people get easily angry at others because it's easier than realizing what really happened and taking the consequences of their own actions.
Don't kill yourself. That definitely is not the answer here.

I don't think you can get so drunk that you won't remember being fucked. She is playing games with you.

So let's say that she got drunk and consented to have sex with the guy OP talked about. Should he go to jail for this? Was that rape? No and no.

Leave the guy alone. She should have known better.
