No, I never had Onychocryptosis. I had Onychia, though.
I just read http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nail_disease , because I always wondered how people get ingrown nails in the first place. Wrong shoes, it seems.

Have you thought about your shoes?

p.s.: Yoe is a borough in York County, Pennsylvania. :D

lulz yoenails.
I had them several years ago. If you get to the point you need to have surgery on them. Do it as soon as you can and get a good doctor to do it. The guy I went to was horrible and now two of my toes looks really fucked up.

Ouch!
Well... I had them for years, too.
I was so afraid to get a surgery. >_<

But at the end it was not as bad as I thought. You get anesthetized so you'll never notice anything and after a few hours you can get home.

But it doesn't mean that's over forever. In most cases the nails may try to ingrown again so you'll have a lot of aftertreatment.

Watch your shoes - maybe they're too small for your feet. And never never try to cut the nails too deep.

I actually had surgery as well, however after 3 or 4 months after they are starting to bleed again. I didnt follow the steps thoroughly after surgery such as a daily salt bath treatment. Also I need new shoes any thoughts?
