A drawing is an abstraction of the imagination. The imagination has this peculiar property that if worked to a high enough degree it may emulate the impressions once received which a person previously (or imagined to have) knew. That said, there's nothing more being done THAN thinking, and some of us choose to include, along with music and sculptures, human relationships as imaginative drolleries.
