Has everyone seriously overlooked the fact that OP has a boyfriend?
If you were single, then fine, have a crush on anime characters. But if you're meant to be in a relationship with someone, that's really not okay. It's no different from being in a relationship and wishing you were with a real person in terms of loyalty. What you're doing is dishonest and a betrayal to your boyfriend. If you want to go chasing anime characters leave the poor guy out of it.
