I started to copy in tests since my third grade.
But that would only be for tests I didn't study.
After I started to flunk in math; I started to copy formulae off by writing them somewhere; just to manage to pass because I'm bad at math.
Then there was my third language which I couldn't cope;
copied that too; same way.
Then I practically copied every subject test and exam.
I felt too sick to study; because I failed though I studied; back then.
I got caught in an exam once too; but that didn't seem to affect me in any way.
Now it's test = copying
I stopped trying to study.
Copying seems just as normal as studying.
I want to mend my ways but I don't know what to do...
You seem to lack self-confidence. You put so much effort in cheating that you must have some work capacity, so don't despair ^_^. I think there are two things you could do:
Its your life, do what you have to do.
I would say to learn how to take notes and study. I have a bad habit of not studying. It took me a lot of effort to learn how to take notes the right way so that I could review in time. (I also found myself doing better in math, the better I got at taking notes in it. Now I don't hate it as much anymore.) You can ask tutors or teachers for this, or find out what works through trial and error.
How about you take the things you copy and use them for notes? Then, you can find some method of memorizing them so that you don't need them for test time. You could even wean yourself off of copying by gradually increasing the amount you memorize and decreasing the amount you copy.
has copying been working for you? if so, continue doing it. if ain't broke, don't fix it.
OP here. Guys I've finished School; There's no math anymore. I'm doing my First year in college but I still copy some of my current subjects in College; like today's Psychology test.
