Courage Wolf's advice is quite impotent.
For one, being brave and daring by itself only works when you have established some kind of power. If you follow some girl around like a puppy for six months and listen to her yab about her abusive boyfriends, and then all of a sudden start making demands of her, she'll get offended and freeze you out, because she knows you'll settle for less. It only works if you're willing to walk away, and if you're taking something she wants with you.
Also, unchecked aggression and perseverance can still result in being a loser. If you get in enough fights, maybe you'll win some, but it takes wisdom to get what you want without losing any teeth.
So Courage Wolf needs to be backed up by creatures who can provide the wisdom to pick your battles, and getting the power to win them. Courage, wisdom, AND power. Like some kind of…

For the power part I still think Courage Wolf is your best bet, combined for the physical part with some working out. That or the Master Sword.
