I need some help finding a job.

Thing is, I'm not very confident and a few years ago after I got booted from my old University (I'm glad, that place was horrible-my current one is rated higher too) I was semi-hikkikomori even though I went to a college for 1.5 years to transfer to my current school.

Aside from working for 2-3 weeks in summer after high school, I haven't done squat. After being accepted into this new Uni I've been a bit happier, even though it's tougher. I'm no genius but I still manage somehow.

I just want to find a job to help pay for my tuition and extra money that I can spend on my hobbies as well. I'm a bit shy, and I think I keep thinking that 'no one will hire someone like me with no experience'. I tried applying for some grocery stores, never heard back. I also tried applying for a temporary 2-day position at my local anime convention last month, didn't hear back either. I have no idea what kind of job I CAN do, since I've never done anything before. Maybe I have some performance anxiety. I also keep worrying that I can't schedule in work if I can only work on weekends (for some reason with the way my courses work I can never get one day off school...and I usually don't even have much time after courses due to large gaps between)

In tl;dr form, I need a job and I don't know what I should be looking for or how I can muster up the courage to go and apply. If some of this is confusing I apologize, may be catching a cold or something.

Try and get connected with a job. Semi-hikkikomori or not, there is probably somebody you know who can put in a good word for you.

Even if it is a totally shit job, you will still have something to put on your resume when you decide to move on, which will no doubt help you in a job application.
