To think a few years ago people were joking over female students of German language and literature being forced to become whores under the new laws...
That's fucked.
Puns aside, there are so many things wrong with that I don't know where to begin. The law will probably catch up soon enough though. :|
Note the "possible" in the sentence. The story is more about what some people who are approaching such situations might happen. But the whole story is exemplaric how people are treated like whores on the German employment market - and I don't mean those fine whores that go for high prices and pick their customers on their own but rather the crackhead kind that gets bitchslapped every other hour.
I see your point. But that such a consideration is possible in the first place is sad.
There is nothing wrong with prostitution, but a person should be able to freely decide if they want to offer sexual services. Otherwise it's a fancy method of social rape.
Actually, a person should be able to freely decide on any job, not just sex. I don't know German law but in some other EU countries I believe you can, must even, refuse jobs if they don't fit your classification or expertise. And even if it fits, you can still refuse a couple of times. It only becomes a problem when it becomes obvious that the guy keeps on refusing any and every job offered to him for no good reason.
I can't believe that in Germany 1 refusal = 1 instant loss of benefits.
Hey, wait a second....
