How are you?
That quiz sucks. Here's my score anyway.
Your PERSONAL issues Score is 70%.
Your ECONOMIC issues Score is 20%.
Your PERSONAL issues Score is 80%.
Your ECONOMIC issues Score is 20%.
An evil liberal!
There's also this thing, for those who haven't seen it: http://www.politicalcompass.org/
I'm not sure how I feel about any kind of political quizes, but here's my political compass anyway.
Economic Left/Right: -9.50
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -7.54
I think I'm probably more progresive than that, because there are a couple things I consider liberal (like military consciption) that others (like everybody) do not.
These people seem a little bit biased, heh. I got 90% on both scales.
With the question "There should be no laws regarding sex for consenting adults", I assumed it was implying "in private", otherwise I would disagree.
I said maybe on "Repeal laws prohibiting adult possession and use of drugs." As mentioned in that other thread, the one about recreational drug use, I think drugs are a real problem that does claim victims (not just the users), but I'm not sure banning them is the right way to go about solving that problem.
Also, "Replace government welfare with private charity" is something I would ideally agree to, but, in practice, I'm really not sure if that would work out, as rich people don't seem all that generous. I guess I should've really said disagree on that one, but in a perfect world, I'd agree with it.
The quiz is gay. If you have no opinion, you are automatically a centrist.
I've taken a few of these and I have been told I'm a conservative, a liberal, an authoritarian, and a libertarian. I actually think I'm a libertarian though. These quizes really suck for me though, as I do not hold an absolutist viewpoint on just about anything. You really cannot boil down someone's political stance to 100 questions with SA, A, N, D, SD.
Your PERSONAL issues Score is 100%.
Your ECONOMIC issues Score is 70%.
I\'m pretty much a libertarian, although I\'m much more moderate on economic issues than most.
Your PERSONAL issues Score is 50%.
Your ECONOMIC issues Score is 80%.
I'm on the Libertarian, Conservative, Centrist junction. I am like >>8 though, I don't hold an absolutist stance on many things.
our PERSONAL issues Score is 70%.
Your ECONOMIC issues Score is 10%.
> You really cannot boil down someone's political stance to 100 questions with SA, A, N, D, SD.
Considering that your political stance is probably the result of underlying beliefs, I don't see why not. You don't roll dice when answering each question.
>>1
I agreed to all (100%,100%) and yet live in an socialist country. Looks like I'm gonna be labelled libertarian like all those nerds.
Or maybe I'm just a spineless moron who'd agree to anything.
>>12
I'll go with a softball.
All abortions should be legal. SA A N D SD?
How do you answer if you are only for abortions in the case of rape, incest, or endanger to the mother's health or life?
How do you answer if you are only for abortions in the case of rape or incest, but only in the first trimester but would allow abortions later that endanger the mother's health or life?
How do you answer if you are only for abortions in the case of rape or incest, but only in the first trimester but would allow abortions later only if the mother's life is in danger?
That's why that SA <-> SD range is there.
How do you descern all of those different beliefs from that range?
In any survey or poll there are two quantities that need to be measured for each point--what the person believes or thinks and how strongly they hold that position. This method muddles both of them into a horrible mess where you cannot get any meaningful result.
> where you cannot get any meaningful result.
Be careful there.
Your PERSONAL issues Score is 70%.
Your ECONOMIC issues Score is 100%.
what does that mean?
World's Smallest Political Quiz
Which are you?
A: Liberal
B: Conservative
If you answered A, you are Liberal
If you answered B, you are Conservative
Addendum:
C: I dunno I don't vote anyway, lol
If you answered C, you are Average American
The labels conservative and liberal mean so many different things in different places too. Hell, some people think democratic = communist
political compass is slightly better. It isn't based on only a small number of questions.
Besides which the World's Smallest Political Test is biased toward libertarians, because they made the test.
A centrist
ha ha libertarians
Centrist for me guess making sense really is rare in politics
Your PERSONAL issues Score is 60%
Your ECONOMIC issues Score is 20%
So I'm a sort of liberal.
Also I think I'm 70% good, 30% bad. Like Mao Ze-dong.
Centrist and a little statist (?)
