It was mentioned in the IRC meeting that the default names should more obviously reflect that the poster is anonymous.
In particular, "THRILLHO" is kind of esoteric, being a reference to a Simpsons episode, apparently. I think "NAME OVER", as suggested in >>1 might be a better idea. Almost anyone who wants to talk about games will get the joke.
Also, I think that "/sbin/nologin" might work a little better for the Programming board (than the current "#!/usr/bin/anon").
Alternatively, all the default names could just be "Anonymous." Someone suggested that, and it certainly does get the point across. But I don't think it would be popular. It loses so much of the flavor.
