Hi Squeeks!
The width of the fonts used is fixed to a certain pixel length in the source of the webpage. Couldn't you fix the width of the frame according to the length of the longest word? I constantly have to resize the frame of the navbar since there's always an annoying scrollbar at the bottom of it (because the "n" and what follows of "programming" got cut off.
Also I think it would be a good idea if you capitalized the board names in the navbar. Capital letters just differ better from one another which makes for easier and quicker identification.

No, they don't.
If you view the source, the frame size is a percentile. You'll also notice that the font size is in points not pixels. This means when its viewed at different screen resolutions, its size is dependant on how big your display is. On my display (1280x1024) the nav bar shows how I would like it, with about 4 characters of space from the end of "internet culture" to the edge.
If I capitalise the names of the boards, this means they will take only more horizontal space, and then means the frame width has to be wider to compensate.
So, capitalisation and bumping the frame to 10% width sound alright? I'll get onto it soon.

Changing the frame width to anything that wouldn't force me (1024 * 768) to resize the frame all the time. I am sure this can be done.
About the capitalisation: I disagree with >>2.
b, g, q, d and p for instance look alot more alike than B, G, Q, D and P. But maybe debating this is idle talk. I edited the sidebar according to my suggestion and took a screenshot, comparing it with the original. Go take a look and decide for yourself:

Oh. That's cheating. You didn't say /leading/ capitals. I thought you meant the whole words...
its 1am here. I have work at 5am.
It'll wait till tomorrow afternoon. Ive also got an rrd database still yet to be crontabbed and I havent studied at all today. Dammit.
Consider what? I said I would capitalise the links and bump the frame to 10%, which I did.
Oh, my bad then. It's just that I still have to resize the navframe on 1024 * 768.
<frameset cols="105,*">
At least test it in 1024 * 768.
heya!
i like the new look, grouping the whole thing into topical categories. neat, also looks fine!
