It is a hand-held 'pencil' that emits cold plasma which can be used to heal wounds, treat plaque, kill bacteria. I heard this from my father who knows the inventors. He says it will take 3 years to reach the market but he also said a lot of companies want to buy it.
This seems so science fiction-y and cold plasma isn't even that new. A ray used to heal wounds? Who woulda thunk it.

Interesting. The primary use seems to be generating and deposting free radicals. Is there actually a specific use for cold plasma per se?
