Talk about non-surprises, that the only Chinese player to enter the draft, Tang Zhengdong, didn't get picked at all!
The guy is slow, lacks strength and from what I have seen is not even prepared mentally to play in the NBA.
The next Yao Ming he is not. On the other hand, Yi Jianlian is definitely a future prospect for China and the NBA...with a different ball style compared to his predecessors and some of his club peers.

What about the game itself? What's your favorite move?
I like doing a scoop.. from my left. (I'm right handed.. so when I started teaching myself how to do it, I figured why don't I get my left arm involved?) I like how the ball rolls off my hand effortlessly.
Defense-wise, I don't think there's a particular move I do. I just follow the ball with my eyes and try to swat it before a shot or a pass can be made. If I get blown by, I try to swat the ball from behind when I turn around but that's prone to fouls.
Team-wise, unfortunately I get greedy with the ball. But I admit that when I pass the ball more often to get others involved, the game is actually more fun than me taking all the glory with the ball.
