I just watched the opening ceremony of the Beijing olympics. The most impressive I have ever seen, really.

I live near london, I really don't think we're going to top it, china injected a lot of culture into their opening, and we're pretty poor on that front.

So. What do you think should be in the 2012 opening ceremony?

Screw that fancy opening ceremony stuff, we can beat quality with quantity. Just open the games with a nice cricket match. Us versus the french, like in 1908.
