Haven't they been trying this for a while now (lol donut)? Or do they now believe they'll finally have a system that generates more electricity than it eats?

Apparently the JT-60 is able to produce more than it eats, with a power amplification of 1.25.

The Fusion FAQ was last updated in 1995, when they were still trying to break even. Someone needs to go and update that FAQ, the JT isn't the only one that passed the 1.0 mark.
