U.S. District Judge Marsha Pechman sentenced a teenager to 18 months in prison for propagating the MS Blaster computer virus that infected nearly 50,000 computers in 2003.

19-year-old Jeffrey Lee Parson a high school student in Hopkins, Minn., admitted last August to releasing the worm to in hopes of creating the damage it ultimately did.

Judge Pechman gave the teen a lighter sentence than expected, attributing the lesser penalty on Parson's immaturity and lack of parental supervision.

Wow. It took them this long?

Maybe in the first 20 minutes of it coming out. lol. I dont think one LAN party I've been to since it came out hasn't had AT LEAST one dick with Blaster or Welchia.
