WWDC 2005, SAN FRANCISCO—June 6, 2005—At its Worldwide Developer Conference today, Apple® announced plans to deliver models of its Macintosh® computers using Intel® microprocessors by this time next year, and to transition all of its Macs to using Intel microprocessors by the end of 2007.

No, I'm not being serious. But this is such a good opportunity I just had to mock the nearest Mac user. ; )

For me, Intel just doesn't feel like Mac magic, but I'm sure the genius Apple marketing will brainwash me back into line soon enough.

Tuesday: Linux becomes a usable desktop for home users and beginners
Wednesday: Debian testers decide to give up on stability and move towards faster releases
Thursday: Be. Inc announces release of it's new OS for PPC: Be Something.
