Is it possible to use a regular WinXP CD Key on a Corp edition install? I'm thinking about downloading the Corp CD just so I don't have to do the shitty activation shit. Just built a new PC, bought XP installed it, and I had it fuck up on me so I reinstalled. Now it's telling me to enter a new fucking key.
>so I don't have to do the shitty activation shit
Since when does XP Pro need activation? Now XP Home, that's a different story.
Umm... Since always?
I'm quite sure that the only version of WinXP that needs activation is XP Home. I've had to install XP Pro multiple times and every time, it just needed a CD key, nothing else.
My god you're retarded, Ichigo Pie.
I don't think people will be willing to help you if you continue to act like an asshole, ID:8l5xNwpj.
Because Ichigo really is a retard?
Retards > rude people.

It saddens me that yet another thread in /tech is getting fagged up with flaming.
Quit it already. If you haven't got anything to say that isn't valuing the thread, don't post.
I have replaced the oembios.sig and oembios.bin with those in the Crack dir and it didn't want activation. I don't know if it would want it if I didn't do that. But I have always used the Corp. key on an XP Pro.
