Network Issues on Fresh XP SP2 (5)

I just installed a fresh copy of XPsp2 on a new coputer with a VIA Rhine II Fast Ethernet Adaptor built into the Mobo. It shows up on the network, but it's not accessible. Any ideas? I'll give as many details as needed.

What do you mean by "not accessible"? Are you talking about Network Neighbourhood?

It'd be nice if you gave the details up front.

In the NIC's hardware config the Network Address was set to NOT PRESENT.

Just changed it and that was that.
