Firefox Problem (7)

I have just upgraded to ver.1.5 and somehow firefox got mess up and now I can't even use it anymore. I even restored my computer when it had the last ver. and it still can't work.I also tryed Opera and that too had the same problem. So anyone here could help me on this?

Ya,firefox can't connect to the internet but IE still could.

nope am on a Home network, Also the Firefox started to work after I turned off my software firewall but I had the firewall over a month and firefox worked fine.

The software firewall doesn't raise any alerts when the newer FF attempts to make a connection to the outside world?

(Not that software firewalls are all that useful...)

Yep it doent, and if your wondering what the software is it's Norton. I got it when I got my router and theirs nine days left in the free trial.
