Internet Explorer problem (5)

Not like a use it all that often, but sometimes it's necessary to.

Here's the problem: Whenever I right click... it crashes.

Here's the error repost I get:

Dude, your IE install must be totally fuxx0red. Try "upgrading" IE with the same version. If that doesn't work, you could try the beta version of IE7. And if you don't like those options I guess you'll have to reinstall Windows.

There's a remote possibility that it's from some other software you're running too. Try running in Safe Mode and see if that solves the problem. If so just narrow down all your progs.

maybe it's caused by some "FREE XXX CURSOR SMILEY BLINKY SHIT TOOLBAR" or something?

I just tried downloading -they said it was compatible with my OS. :(

I had just recently re-installed Windows, actually. I used to have sp2, but it was giving me so many problems I decided to reinstall it without the service packs. That actually solved most of my problems, although it caused a few other ones I had to fix (such as me not being able to install Japanese support, it not recoginising my hard drive, programs telling me to update). Also, re-installing is a pain. I have about 100 different programs I use weekly, and I would have to re-install them once again.

Oh well, I guess it's a lose-lose situation with Microsoft crap... and even more with pirated microsoft crap.

It's certainly some plugin that adds an item into the context menu. Browse to c:\program files\internet explorer\PLUGINS and move all the files away, this will fix it. Then return the files back one by one to find the faulty one. All IE windows must be closed prior to any manipulations.
