I recently downloaded the Densha Otoko dorama onto my desktop, but they are really using a lot of my memory. So how do I burn those episodes on to a DVD? Is there a special program I need to use?
Depends on if you want to watch them on a DVD player or just store them off your drive and watch on your PC.
so i cannot just burn it on a dvd? because the episodes are a lot, and they are really using up my hard drive's memory.
can you tell me how to do it?
Again, making it so you can watch on a dvd player on your tv is a more involved process. If you just want to watch them on your PC, any DVD burning software will do like Nero. You also need a DVD burner and those are usually bundled with burning software anyway. Do you have a DVD drive capable of burning?
JUST CALL IT A FRICKIN "DRAMA" LIKE NORMAL PERSON, YOU WEEABOO WANKER.
Now that I've got that out of my system... You didn't say if you had a Mac or PC, but if you're slinging a Mac, and you do indeed have a DVD burner, look into iDVD, which should be on your system. It'll let you set up menus and such and apparently has a pretty fast converter for converting QuickTime video to DVD-compatible format. (I haven't used it myself.)
Let me simplify the question:
Do you want to watch these episodes on a DVD player on your TV, or do you just want to back them up so you can watch them on your PC/Mac later on?
If you just want to back them up, then it's fairly easy. You can use burning programs already in the operating systems. On Windows XP, just select the files you want and drag them over to the DVD-RW icon in My Computer. When you've gotten all the files you want (keep in mind a DVD will only hold so much), then click "Write to CD" in the Files menu. Then follow the wizard.
This is all theory, by the way. I'm using Linux and GNOME is just Right-Click -> Burn to CD/DVD. ( ・∀・)
