After seeing a USB Drink Cooler, I am wondering, are there any more useless/wacky junk for your computer.
http://www.thinkgeek.com has a lot of useless crap like that.
The retractable cup holders sold with every new computer these days.
Seriously, the most useless one I can easily remember is the CueCat. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cuecat Scan magazine barcodes to pull up a webpage on your browser! So useful and not redundant at all!
>>3 Don't be daft... that's the handle to carry your computer with. :-P
They're bloody hard to pull out initially, and cut into your fingers when there's any load in the case though.
I remember a USB powered plastic fish tank. :3
>>4, oh yeah. (Though it's spelled ":CueCat"....) Specifically, barcodes in magazine ads. The idea being that that would be easier than typing in a url. Certainly not the biggest thing since the mouse as they claimed at one point.
But it's not completely useless. With some hacking, you've got a free barcode reader, which could come in handy. Heck, I could use one, sort of.
I believe nothing is more useless than the USB powered miniature christmas tree sold on several websites (E.g. http://www.dolphinfast.com/products/9401.html ).
Now my question... who's stupid enough to buy this useless crap? There must be a market for it, otherwise they wouldn't sell them.
me. i like buying useless usb crap. I also own two self-powered 7 port usb hubs to connect them all to my computer
